My name is Jo, and I’m a movement teacher.
I help people reconnect with their bodies so they can move with more ease, confidence, and trust.
I teach from lived experience. Throughout my own journey, I’ve faced significant physical challenges — including spinal injuries, plantar fasciitis, and knee injuries. Those experiences showed me something powerful: our bodies are capable of healing, adapting, and exceeding even our own expectations when we work with them, not against them.
I won’t limit you.
I meet you exactly where you are — and I’ll remind you that where you want to go is possible.
My approach is informed by a wide range of movement disciplines that have supported my own healing: yoga, Pilates, strength training, calisthenics, mobility work, and water-based movement
I’m a certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, pre- and post-natal certified, a mobility specialist, and a classical Pilates teacher in progress.
I’ve seen — again and again — that when we restore movement and function to the body and its joints, people feel more at home in themselves. They move better, feel stronger, and often begin to look and feel the way they’ve always hoped to.
Let me be your guide back to yourself through movement —just as it has guided me.
